Heady's childhood dream came true when he came to the United States in 1967 to attend college. He is a 1972 graduate of University of the Ozarks, Clarksville, Arkansas with a degree in Business Administration.
He entered insurance and financial services in 1973, and later in 1979, he became an American citizen. He is the founder and the President of Arkansas LTC Agency, Inc. (ARLTC) Heady started marketing long-term care protection since 1990 with one mission statement in mind, to increase public awareness and educating the citizens of Arkansas about Long Term Care issues and to become the most comprehensive Long Term Care marketing organization in Arkansas.
He is currently a member of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisor, National LTC Network, He is also a Certified Trainer for State Long Term Care Partnership Program. This course is co-sponsored by Association of Health Insurance Advisors (AHIA), America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), and National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
He offers long-term care planning, need analysis, and does market research to find an affordable and suitable policy for individuals, businesses, infinity group and associations. Heady represents several major long-term care insurance companies as General Agent. He has the exclusive endorsement of Chamber Alliance program (CAP), which represents over 60 Chambers of Commerce to provide long-term care services to its members, and their families and employees. Several financial institutions in Arkansas also utilizing his long term care planning services to assist their clients. In October 2012 his agency started offering Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) planning for those who are reaching retirement age. Heady is representing major companies and is available to conduct educational classes for any group size. He is one of the Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield preferred brokers.
In 2002, he was recognized by Golden Harvest Award as one of the top long-term care producers in the country.
Heady has been a recipient of many insurance Industry honors including six times qualifier of Million Dollar Round Table Club as member of Premier Association of Financial Professionals.
According to American Association of Long Term Care, in 2008, Heady was among top 2% of LTC producers out of 40,000 in the nation and in 2010, 2011 he was in top 1%.
